Captain Matt reported a good day on the 7-4 fluke boat. A very fast drift made for a slow morning but the afternoon fishing was very good.3 people went home with a limit of fluke with many people having 3-5 each. Pool fish today was around 8 pounds.Matt also reported the quality of the keepers was very nice with many fish in the 4-6lb range. The sea bass were much less aggressive today with only a handful being caught. A few monster blue fish rounded out today catch. Captain Rich will be setting sail tomorrow morning at 7am on the Gail Frances.
Captain Mike reported good fishing as well on both half day trips. The morning trip saw quite a few sea bass to 3 pounds and fluke to 6 pounds. The afternoon was a little slower on the fluke but the sea bass bite was good. Plain hooks with sinkers seemed to be the way to go today. Both half day trips are scheduled to set sail tomorrow at 8am and 1pm.
