First mate Troy reported a fair day on the full day boat. Slower fishing but again many fish over 4 pounds. High hook was Mr. Pak who went home with 6 fine keepers. Tony and Rose went home with 5 keepers. Gene won the pool with a 8lb slab and also had 5 keepers. Some more sea bass in the mix with the biggest being around 4 pounds. Captain Rich reported that the first drift was the best and then the drift disappeared. Some scup and blues also found there way to the nets. Captain Rich will set sail tomorrow morning at 7am.
Captain Matt was at the helm of the half day trips and reported good fishing. The mornings trip saw a nice mix of fluke and sea bass to 4 pound. Christine was high hook with 4 nice fluke and a sea bass. The afternoon trip had much more drift and had great results. Quite a few more fluke and sea bass could not pass out the bait. High hook had 5 keepers. The biggest sea bass was around 5 pounds. The pool fish this afternoon was a 5 pound fluke. The half day trips will be setting sail tomorrow at 8am and 4pm.
