The word from the Night Bass trip on Wednesday August 21st was that fishing was very good. Nice quality fish with the biggest being upwards to 40 lbs. A couple of pictures of the 50 inch monster are provided courtesy of first mates Greg and Troy. Thanks guys for the great shots! And nice numbers of fish all around the boat, with a few anglers catching their limits. Also a handful of blues mixed in. Our next trip is tonight at 7:00 p.m. There is plenty of room, so give the office a call. Just a reminder, this is our last FULL WEEK of bass fishing. For the remainder of this week, we will be going tonight, Friday night and Saturday night. Next week we will be going Friday and Saturday night only. And the following week, Saturday nights only through mid October.Any questions , give the office a call. Hope to see you on board soon.
Capt. Rich reported an excellent day on the fluke grounds today! QUALITY AND QUANTITY were both apt adjectives to describe today’s fishing around Block Island! Hi hook was longtime regular and exceptional rod handler Mike from Providence who had 8 big fluke (orl) including flatties of 9 and 6 pounds! Way to go Mike!! Tony Pak had his limit of big fluke to 8 lbs plus a limit of nice sea bass. First mate Chris K reported there were once again, like the past couple days. lots of big fluke over 4 lbs with a half dozen or so over 7 lbs to just under ten pounds! Many of the anglers aboard had several nice fluke to take home plus the sea bass. Quite a few sea bass mixed in today with a good number of sea bass limits. A very nice day of fishing aboard the Gail Frances! Capt. Rich will be ready to set sail tomorrow morning at 7 am to hopefully do it once again!

Friday and Saturday will be the last 4pm half days of the summer season. Next week we will have 8am to Noon everyday like usual and the 1pm to 5 pm Sunday through Wednesday.
