Captain Rich reported a very good day of fishing on the full day fluke boat. A great mixed bag fishing of fluke, scup, sea bass, bluefish and a striped bass came over the rail. High hook was regular Eben with a limit of fluke and 5 nice sea bass. Pete and Connie teamed up for 10 keeper fluke and Connie took the pool with a fine 10.8 pool fish. Quite a few anglers had 5 each. Sea bass to 5 pounds also made it to the boat. The fishing had some slow points when a thunder storm would push in but fishing was very good. Captain Rich will set sail tomorrow morning at 7am.
First mate Greg reported a good morning trip. A mixed bag of sea bass, fluke and scup. High hook on the sea bass went home with 4 keepers. Today’s pool fish was a fine 5lb fluke. Some anglers reported even catching upwards of 25 short sea bass. The rain held off all trip and made for a nice finish to the half day trips.
