Captain Mike reported a decent on the blackfish grounds. Dirty was was still a problem but Mike found the fish. The morning started out on the slow side but the end drops payed off. A few anglers are going home with limits of blackfish with many having 3-5 each. Quite a few sea bass in the mix with at least 1 limit of seabass to 5 pounds. Today’s pool fish was 8 pounds. One keeper cod also made it over the rail. With the wind dying out the next few days Captain Mike is hoping for the fishing we had before Friday’s blow. The Blackfish boat will be sailing tomorrow aboard the Admiral Frances at 6am.
Captain Rich will be setting sail tomorrow morning at 6am for codfish.
