Roger from the Frances Fleet reported another very strong day of togging. Quite a few limit catches today. Nothing really impressive size wise compared to what we have been getting accustomed to, with just a few bigger fish and a pair of 7 lbrs that split the bragging rights and most of the rest nice keepers. A few nice red hake, one short cod and a handful of keeper sea bass mixed in. Just a tremendous amount of shorts today to keep everyone very busy so one could certainly say the day was action packed!! Tomorrow we try again and the Lady Frances will be set to sail at 6 am with Capt. Mike.
For the cod and sea bass enthusiasts looks like three days of fine weather ahead Friday through Sunday and Capt. Rich will be set to sail at 6am all three days.
