Captain Mike reported a slower day on the blackfish grounds. The wing from today and yesterdays made for some tough fishing conditions and dirty water. High hook still managed nearly a limit.Pool fish was around 7 pounds. Captain Mike did say with the wind letting go in the afternoon it should make for better fishing. The weather starting tomorrow through saturday looks very good and we will be sailing everyday.
Captain Rich will be setting sail tomorrow morning at 6am on the Gail Frances for cod and sea bass. The past few trips have been very good and are hoping for a repeat.
