Captain Matt reported a good day on the cod grounds. The weather forecast seemed to scare some people away but it was a great day on the water. Captain Rich took a ride and found some nice green cod. The first few drifts saw cod coming over the rail. Boat jigs and bait worked. Todays pool fish was a fine 20lb slab. Not as many sea bass but the fish were on the larger side. These trips are a great mixed bag with cod, sea bass, scup, and ling filling coolers. We will not be sailing tomorrow but are planning on sailing tuesday weather permitting.
