Captain Mike reported a slammer day on the cod. Nearly a full boat limit of fat green cod. High hooks went to Mr Pak and Norm who both boxed 16 keeper cod. Many other limits all around the boat with nearly everyone with in 1-2 of a limit. Some of the best sized cod we have seen this winter with some fish in the upper teens battling it out for the pool. Mike set the boat on a drift and the fish were waiting. Both jigs and bait worked very well. Double header coming up all over the place with Norm catching 4 sets of double headers. LOts of herring in the water turned the fish in to a feeding frenzy. Some baseball bat ling and monster perch in the mx as well The Gail Frances will be sailing tomorrow morning at 5am for codfish.
