Capt Matt reported that the enthusiastic group of anglers aboard the morning half day were treated to some some quality fish. The numbers could have been a little better but overall a pretty good day on the water. Plenty of seabass to go around, with most fish in the 2-4 lb range. The biggest fluke was around 7 lbs. Not everyone had fluke to go home with but the ones that were caught were definitely good for a dinner or two. Today’s pm half day was a shade slower than the morning trip. We really have had some nice sized fluke on some the half days recently. Two more trips on tap for tomorrow. 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Hope to see you then!
Capt Ray and first mate Greg enjoyed their half day charter today with the Patterson gang. A family affair, from grandparents to grandchildren had a great day on the water. Not much fluke to speak of but plenty of seabass to fill the coolers. As well as scup. We hope everyone on board had a great time and hope to see them again in the future.
First mate Chris L reported a solid day of fishing aboard the Gail Frances. Hi hook took home six fine keepers today. Biggest fish was threatening six pounds and there were several of them to be balanced for the pool. Some sea bass, one scup and a half dozen handsome blue fish up to ten pounds rounded out the fluke today aboard the Gail. Capt. Rich will be ready to set sail tomorrow morning around 7am aboard the Gail.
