General Manager Cory Blount reported a very strong half day morning of fishing today aboard the Gail Frances. There was a very respectable amount of keeper fluke to 7 lbs and the sea bass action with stellar with an easy full boat limit and sizes to at least 5 lbs. Plenty of short sea bass as well bending rods in between the keepers. Picture today provided courtesy customer Frank Pierce. Capt. George reported the pm half day was very good as well with some nice fluke to four pounds and plenty of good size sea bass to at least 3 lbs. Two half days on tap tomorrow with the first set to sail at 8am and the second set to sail at 1pm. Back to back half days can net an angler a $15 discount off the second outing.
First mate Ted reported a better day of fluking aboard the Gail Frances. Nothing wild like this past Sunday but a solid tick up from the past two days. No monsters with the pool split between twin 6 lbrs. A handful of anglers boxed six nice keepers apiece. A bunch of others had three to five apiece and then there were those who had less. A few handfuls of keeper sea bass, a couple scup and a few nice blue fish to top off the fluke catches aboard the Gail. Weather looks stellar again tomorrow and Capt.Rich will be set to sail aboard the Gail Frances at 7am.
Capt. Matt reported an awesome day of Whale Watching with Sperm Whales again sighted!! The Whales put on a great show for patrons today. This is the fourth time this season we have seen them. Still room on Friday’s Whale Watch so if interested please call the office to book a reservation.
No night fishing tonight. Friday and Saturday Nights are scheduled at 7pm and right now are very light. Last night’s trip was slow. Just a couple bass and one blue fish right at the end of the trip. Night fishing trips require reservations.
