NO SCUP THIS WEEKEND BUT COD/SEA BASS BEGINS SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19TH AND WILL VERY LIKELY BE CATCHING SOME PORGIES AS WELL!!
First mate Troy reported the Gail Frances today had a great day with plenty of jumbo scup to 3 lbs and lots of good size sea bass with a few approaching the 4 lb mark. Plenty of sea bass limits and some anglers had upwards to 30 nice size scup apiece. The fluke were tough to come by however with just a couple handufuls up to 5 lbs and last but not least one bright golden short cod. Some pictures today provided courtesy of first mate Troy. Amazing weather again tomorrow with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7am with Capt. Rich at the helm.
Tonight’s Tuna trip is sold out but there is plenty of room on this upcoming weekend’s trip. Plenty of room on upcoming tuna trips as well. Fishing has been good so far. A fresh tuna report will be available upon return of the Lady Frances Friday Afternoon.
