Roger reported another very good day of tog fishing and a gorgeous day of early November weather aboard the Lady Frances. There were many limit catches and those who were just shy of a limit. There were certainly some folk who had less but overall the results were excellent. Biggest fish was a solid ten pounds and there were other fish in the 7-9 lb range. Quite a few sea bass today as well with a fair amount of two pounders. Certainly at least a few fishers had their sea bass limits as well. A handful of keeper cod, a handful of red hake, a short fluke, some ocean perch and quite a few short cod and a load of short tog rounded out the catching for the day. Each drop produced its fair share of action and it is nice to see fish in a wide array of depths. Pictures today courtesy of Roger. Looks like more great weather on tap for tomorrow and Capt. Mike will be ready to set sail on the Lady Frances at 6 am for tatoug.
Great weather to drift around for cod and sea bass tomorrow as well and Capt. Rich will set sail at 6am aboard the Gail Frances.
