Roger reported a very good day aboard the black fish boat today overall. There were many limit catches but there were a handful of anglers who did not do as well. The bite seemed to be soft, even to the experts. Some really nice fish today including a couple of fish in the 10-11 lb range and some others in the 7-9 lb range. Tremendous numbers of short tog kept customers very busy at all the drops. Just a few handfuls of keeper sea bass and a handful of short cod and one large conger eel rounded out the day’s catching. Clams did produce a few nice black fish today as well but crabs were by far the bait of choice. Pictures today courtesy of Roger. Next trip is tomorrow morning at 6am with Capt. Mike at the helm.
Capt. Rich will be ready to set sail aboard the Gail Frances at 6am for cod/sea bass.
