Cold, rainy, windy weather most of the week. Although, we may need the rain, it sure does put a damper on our fishing schedule. Our next trip, as of right now, looks to be Saturday. This upcoming weekend will be our last weekend for cod, till possibly fall. And while the winter as well as the spring cod season has certainly been a rollercoaster ride, overall its been favorable fishing, with some trips being an all out slaughter while others have been marginal. So don’t miss out on the last few trips of the spring season.
We are gearing up for the fluke fishing season, which we will begin running on Friday May 13th. We plan to sail daily at 7:00 a.m. aboard the Gail Frances, with Capt Richie at the helm. A few squid starting to show up, so we hope to start the squid trips within the next week as well.
