HAPPY FATHER’S DAY FROM THE FRANCES FLEET!!!!!!!!!!!
We wrapped up the squid season last night aboard the Gail Frances with some squid, fluke and other cellar dwellers. A couple pictures courtesy longtime regular customers Ginny Reed and Joe Collins. We would like to thank all the squid enthusiasts who sailed with us this season as it certainly was the best season in at least several years!
Captain Rich reported a decent day on the full day fluke boat. The day was a perfect blue bird day. High hook went home with 5 keepers with the pool fish being a solid 7 pounds. Some nice quality fish with a dozen fish over 5 pounds. The end of the day saw lock and load sea bass fishing with many fish in the 3-6 pound range thrown back to swim until Friday. Tomorrow we plan on sailing at 7am on the Gail Frances.
Captain Mike reported a healthy turnout on both half day trips today with a good mix of keepers and shorts on both trips. Customer were saying they could not have asked for a nicer day on the water. we will be sailing daily for half day trips at 8am and 1pm.
