Last night’s bass fishing was slow. We did have one of the most impressive blue fish we have seen in recent times though estimated to be at least 15 lbs. Better days ahead, hopefully starting this coming Wednesday evening. Bass fishing sails Wednesday through Saturday Nights at 7 pm by reservation.
Captain Mike reported a very good morning half day fishing trip. The sea bass were out in force this morning with many anglers catching limits of sea bass. The fluke did make there presence know on the first few drifts but as the day went on they seemed to go in hiding. The afternoons half day saw slower fishing then the morning but angler still managed a nice bag of sea bass.
Captain Matt reported a good day on the full day boat. The morning started off great with a perfect drift and fluke coming over the rail. As the morning went on the drift slowed down and so did the fluke. When the fluke slowed down the sea bass came out in force. A boat limit of fine sea bass to over 5 pounds. Some anglers reported throwing back over 10 keeper sea bass. Todays pool fish was around 9 pounds with a fine 29″ slab. Tomorrow is another day and we will be sailing at 7am.
