Capt. Mike reported an okay morning of half day fishing with a surprisingly good number of fluke boated by fishers along with some sea bass and a few scup. A nice blue fish took the pool.
The afternoon trip was reported to be slower with mostly sea bass and just a couple of fluke.
Two half days on tap for tomorrow with the first to set sail on the Lady Frances at 8 am and the next at 1pm.
Frances Fleet General Manager Cory Blount reported a slow start but decent end on the full day fluke and sea bass trip today. Hi hook had 7 nice flatties and there were other fishers who boxed several nice fluke apiece. Biggest fluke was just shy of 6 lbs. A good number of sea bass with many fishers getting their limit and a handful of real slobs with several in the 5 lb range boated today. A decent amount of scup to nearly 2 lbs as well. Not great but not too shabby either. We have at it again tomorrow with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7 am with Capt. Rich at the helm.
