Capt. George reported the RISA charter on the Admiral Frances met with good success for sea bass but just a few fluke were boated.
First mate Capt Matt reported today turned out to be a pretty nice day aboard the Gail Frances weather wise and the fishing was solid but not spread out at all. Definitely a case of the haves and have nots today. There was one limit catch and a few others who had seven keeper fluke apiece. A fair number of other fishers boated several nice fluke apiece. A lot of nice sea bass boated but even they were not as spread out as we usually see. Longtime regular customer Mark from NYC had seven nice fluke and an easy limit of big sea bass today for example and threw back many many other big sea bass. He was fishing with a light buck tail and gulp with no boat bait. Buck tail set ups in general seemed to have an edge today. Some nice porgies mixed in as well. Every day seems to be a little different. Tomorrow is a new day and Capt. Rich will set sail at 7 am aboard the Gail Frances.
The morning half day and afternoon half day found some sea bass and porgies and a few nice fluke. Two half days on tap tomorrow with the first to set sail at 8 am and the next at 1pm, both aboard the Lady Frances. Back to back half days can net an angler a $10 discount off the second outing.
