The winds have finally subsided and the seas are calming down. All trips back on track starting with tomorrow. Capt Richie at the helm tomorrow on the Gail Frances for the full day fluke, seabass and scup trip. 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Roger will have the office open by 5:30 for ticket sales. Weekend weather looks just fine, so the full day boat is expected to get out all weekend. Just a reminder this will be our last weekend targeting fluke, BUT we will be fishing THROUGH FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 16TH FOR THEM. Starting next Saturday, the 17th, we will be cod fishing. Fluke remains open, so there is always the possibility of snagging a fish or two. That’s what makes fall fishing here so great, an opportunity to catch many different species!
Of special note: This weekend’s tuna trip will have an earlier departure time. We would like everyone checked in by 5:00 a.m., so the capt and crew can pull out shortly thereafter. The last trip had a good day bite, so the crew wants to get out there as early as possible.
