Captain Matt reported another great day on the cod grounds. Many happy faces around the boat. The morning started off brisk but the fishing was hot. Many limits around the boat with others with in a small handful. Some winter flounder and black sea bass in the mix.Biggest fish of the day were in the low teens but not in the pool. Pool fish was around 10 pounds. There will be no trip tomorrow due to the weather.
We will be sailing EVERY DAY for cod fish weather permitting at 6am until January. Then we will switching to 5am.
This will be putting an end to our black fishing season. There are still fish around but the cod fishing is just to good to not try everyday.
