Captain Mike reported a better day on the cod grounds. We were able to drift all day with the perfect condtions. We sailing this morning with a very solid crew of anglers who didnt mind a little cold. We had a much better showing of the haddock then the last 2 days. They wind earlier in the week seemed to spread the fish out but they are starting to pile up again. A good mixed bag of scup, sea bass, ling, cod, haddock and even a weak fish came over the rails. We are scheduled to sail tomorrow at 6am on the Lady Frances.
We are trying to sail both boats this weekend. One for cod and one for blackfish. The blackfishing is by reservation only. We would hate to see peoplee drive down for nothing.
