Captain Matt reported another good day on the full day fluke boat. We sailed with a light crowd of angler who wanted to celebrate the holiday drifting and dreaming. One of our anglers did have a dream when he landed a 31″ fluke tipping the scales at 12 pounds!! We had a few more limits in the haul today. There is plenty of bait around and fishing is only going to get better. Spros, gulps, spearing, whole squid all worked today. We will have no trip tomorrow. Wednesday looks like the next day.
Captain Mike reported tough fishing on today’s half day trips. The wind from Friday really stirred up the water and the beach hasnt rebounded yet. Only a handful of shorts and keepers came over the rail. Our next half day trips will be Saturday and Sunday 8am-12 and 1pm-5pm.
