Captain Matt reported a tough day on the full day grounds. It seems we are finally done with the windy and wet weather but no wind makes for no drift. We never got the boat to move faster then .3kts. We did managed a few dozen keepers fluke. We also did have nearly a sea bass limit but even those were tough to catch today. We will be back at it tomorrow for the 4th.
Captain Mike reported good fishing on the morning half day trips. The sea bass and fluke seemed to not care about the slower drift and were just hungry. Some nice keeper fluke to 5 pounds and limits of sea bass were caught
We do as people to arrive early tomorrow as it should be busy with the holiday.
