Captain Greg reported much improved day on the full day grounds. We were going to have the tide all morning so we took a ride down to the south in search of some doormats. We we picked away on some quality fluke until we lost the tide around noon. We took a ride closer to the island and found some real bomber sea bass to 5 pounds.Biggest fluke on the day was just under 10 pounds and many quality fish in the 5-8 pound range All in all it was a much better day and a perfect day on the water. We will be sailing tomorrow morning at 7am
Captain Mike reported a slower morning on the half day. We picked away on scup and sea bass with a few fluke in the mix. We did not have much tide to work with . Captain George was at the helm this afternoon and did see slightly better action on the fluke. We will have both trips tomorrow at 8am and 1pm. There will be no Half day afternoon on the next 3 Saturday afternoons.
