Captain Greg reported a tough night of the bass boat. We had slack tide when we steamed out. We took the ride down to the ledge hoping to find some hungry cows. This did not pay off as we would have hoped so we steamed back to the rip. We manged a few fish late in the night but the slow and slack tide really hurt. Next trip will be on Wednesday.
Captain Matt reported a busy day on the cod marathon. We steamed out to Coxes and set the boat on a drift. We had wind against tide and were on a backwards drift. We did the best with the drift we had. We did manage to get cod every where we went. We caught upwards of 100 cod. Pool fish was over 15 pounds. We will be trying these trips every other Sunday at 5am.
