Captain Matt reported a decent start to the fall 2019 tuna season. We took a long ride to where there was a water break. We had some fishing on the troll, night chunk and on jigs. The fish ranged in size from 28” to just shy of 100 pounds. The 2 biggest fish did come on the troll. The fish we had at night were just before sunup and we had anywhere from 6-10 on at a time. We still have plenty of room on all the upcoming trips.
Captain Matt reported a decent day on the full day fluke boat. Some anglers did well on the fluke but the sea bass and scup were the star or the show. JUst a few fish shy of a boat limit of sea bass to 6 pounds. Biggest fluke on the day was just shy of 7. All the big scup for those who wanted them. Captain Mike will be at the helm tomorrow sailing at 7am.
The weekend from Friday-Sunday looks very unsettled depending on what the storm does.
There will be no tuna trip on Thur-Friday.
