Captain Rich report a very solid day on the fluke grounds. We had a stiff north east wind all day and a quick drift but the fluke did not care. We had drift upwards of 2kts. High hooks left with limit catches to just shy of 10 pounds. We were a little light on the sea bass side but the quality of the fluke more then made up for it. Sold out until Monday but spots are not lasting.
Captain Greg reported very good fishing on the Half day trips. The morning had some of the best showing of fluke we have had in weeks. Drifts with 3-5 keepers plus sea bass were common. Once the wind picked up things started to slow down on the catching. We took different approach this afternoon and found plenty of hungry fish waiting. We are sold out tomorrow and Sunday.
