Captain Greg reported a decent day on the half day grounds. It wasnt as savage as it was the past few days but we still put a good catch together. We worked the grounds hard and had many sea bass limits. We had a good showing of fluke today with one anglers catching 3 keeper fluke to 5 pounds and a sea bass limit.
Captain Greg aslo reported an Ok night last night on the combo boat. We started off drift and picked away some nice fluke to 6 pounds. Once the sun set we set up for the squid/sea bass. We had a very quick drift to deal with but we were marking well. There were sheets of squid in the lights all night but they were very hard to catch. High hook had a few dozen squid. We picked away on the sea bass with many limits around the boat. Friday conditions look very favorable to the squid and sea bass.
