We got a quick text from one of our friends on the tuna grounds. We had a pick of yellows and mahi on the first day. This is a good sign for things to come and we will have a full report tomorrow when the boat gets in. Most trips are filling up quick so dont get left reading the reports… make them.
Captain Rich reported a decent day on the full day grounds. A few more fluke then the past few days but the scup and sea bass were the starts. Sea bass limits around the boat as well as all the scup anglers wanted. Biggest fluke was around 5 pounds. Gulp and jigs were the way to go. Sold out tomorrow.
Captain George reported good day on both half day trips. The afternoon did see better actions. Scup and sea bass were coming over the rails. Lots of short sea bass kept rods bent all trip long. We did have some slower spots but each trip did have a star drop which made the day. Some room left for tomorrow and it is our last day of half day fishing for the 2021 season.
