What a difference a day makes. Friday had very tough drift and swell conditions to deal with which drastically effected the fishing. those who stuck it out at the rail were treated to some fish but it was very off. Today was much nicer on the grounds and bent rods all around. Captain rich reported a boat limit of sea bass to 4 pounds and plenty of shorts to make for a fun day. A great uptick in the fluke as well on keepers and shorts. Captain Cole reported the same thing on the morning half day grounds. The fluke action was some of the best we have seen on the half days with a few fish in the 7lb range and some more 3-5lb fish. We had many sea bass limits as well as shorts to keep young and old anglers busy. Sailing both trips tomorrow and Monday looks very unsettled.
