Unfortunately the full day fluke boat did not make it out today but Capt. Mike and Roger had a very busy day right outside the gap today and that activity included about a dozen nice recreational fish most of which were in the 3 to 5lb range. At times the action was really hot and heavy and Roger had six double headers for the day!! Small bucktails and the tandem bait rig with just squid and spearing worked the best today. There was a tremendous amount of spearing and sand eels on the grounds today and the fluke were chock full of them. The fluke were also spitting up whole squid so there is a lot of activity developing along the south shore beaches right now. Capt. Rich looks forward to a pleasant day on the water setting sail for fluke at 7am aboard the Lady Frances.
