Capt. Richie reported that he crushed the fish on the 7:00 a.m. full day trip today. A small crowd of anglers today with all but two people bringing home their limit of 7 fluke a piece. Biggest weighed in at just over 10 lbs and with the majority of the fish in the 4 – 6 lb range. A nice bunch of blues mixed in to keep things exciting. Plenty of seabass coming over the rails, that unfortunately are still out of season, so must be thrown back. July 11th cant come fast enough, thats when seabass season opens in RI. But overall a very very good day on the full day trip.
Capt. Mike had a nice group of people on his full day charter today, all from Douglas Plumbing and Heating out of CT. They also had a very productive day. A nice bunch of keeper fluke and plenty of throwbacks to keep everyone busy all day. And the best part of their charter today was that the rain waited until they were back at the dock. They got a little wet loading their cars but they were dry all day.
Capt. Chris on the half day this morning had nice mix of keeper fluke as well as throwbacks. Some nice seabass that were caught and released as well as some gator size bluefish. One angler had one almost hitting the 15 lb mark. Next half day trip is tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m.
