Capt. Chris was elated to report the PM half day trip was excellent. Customers had up and down fishing with the fluke along the local beaches and there were quite a few nice keepers in the mix with hi hook Chris from NYC bagging four nice fish to 5lbs and taking the pool. Anglers also tossed back sea bass upwards to nearly six pounds and more than just a few of them. Like a broken record I must sound but before you know it, July 11th will be here. One handsome blue fish provided a little excitement as well. All terminal gear was effective although whole squid was quite productive for a few angelrs. Next brace of half day trips are slated for tomorrow with the Lady Frances set to sail at 8am and again at 1pm with Capt. Mike.
Capt. Rich reported a good day of fluke fishing on the full day boat. Again some real quality slabs hitting the deck with many of the keepers over 4lbs. Dan King, longtime regular Frances Fleet customer, took the pool with a slab well over 8lbs. Mr. Pac diligently put together a fine limit catch of good size fluke and a good number of the anglers aboard went home with several nice fluke apiece. Once again anglers tossed back a lot of those out of season sea bass and a couple tackle busting choppers made their way onto the decks of the Gail Frances as welll today. Capt. Rich looks forward to another fine day tomorrow with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7am.
