Capt. Rich reported a good day of fluke fishing today despite slow drift conditions. There were at least one or two limits today and a good number of anglers had a few to several nice fluke apiece to take home. Pool fish went 9.5lbs and there was lots of catch and release action with the sea bass and some good sport with a bunch of hard charging good size blue fish. Capt. Rich looks forward to another good day today with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7am.
Capt. Mike reported both half days to be very sucessful with a nice mix of keepers and plenty of shorts on both trips to keep anglers very busy. Biggest fish for the day in the five pound range on the fluke. Customers also tossed back plenty of fine sea bass including some real whoppers and even some blue fish were mixed in today. Next set of half day trips slated for Wednesday are at 8am and 1pm.
Capt. Chris reported his 8am to 3pm full day charter was very good today with a nice mess of keepers and plenty of shorts to keep the pace moving right along. Capt. Chris also reported tossing back lots of big sea bass as well. Good news is that its less than two weeks away now to when we can keep these things!
