Capt. Mike reported it was all about the size of the fluke today. A great turnout of fluke enthusiasts this morning were generally well rewarded for their efforts putting over 100 keeper fluke in the boat with the vast majority in the jumbo catagory once again of 4lbs or better, in fact there were over 30 fish over 6lbs with the two fish in the 10lb range or perhaps a tad larger to fight it out for the pool. A number of anglers had several nice fish apiece to take home but whether or not anyone or any number of anglers limited out has not yet been made clear. Capt. Mike reported that the fish were fairly well spread out amongst the anglers which means all terminal gear was generally equally effective. All these good size fish were caught also under very poor drift or lack of drift conditions according to the crew as well. Anglers had a few blue fish to take home and threw back a big old mess of good size sea bass that as of this date are as everyone knows still out of season. Capt. Rich is at the helm tomorrow and the Gail Frances will set sail at 7am for the next full day jumbo fluke adventure.
