Capt. Ray reported a tough night of Striper fishing with a handful of Stripers up to 20lbs and a fair amount of blue fish. Weak tide and wind against tide was to blame. Next Striper trip sets sail this evening at 7pm with Capt. Ray by reservation on the Lady Frances and there is still plenty of room if anyone is interested.
Capt. Mike reported the 7am full day was improved over yesterday with better numbers of good size fluke and a number of anglers getting several nice fish apiece to take home. Pool fish was 8lbs and there were a few fish in the 5 to 6lb range mixed in with the keepers. All the usual out of season species and some short fluke and some hefty blue fish mixed in. Overall though a good day and Capt. Rich looks forward to another good day today with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7am.
Capt. George reported the PM half day evening fluke trip was very good. A tremendous amount of action with the short fluke and a good mix of keepers to over 5lbs plus plenty of those out ot season sea bass and sea robins kept the anglers busy from start to finish. Joe from Old Bridge NJ had an awesome night taking home 5 nice keepers to over 5lbs and taking the pool honors as well. Half days today sail at 8am and again at 4pm.
