Capt. Mike reported a very enjoyable morning half day with bright sunshine and warm but less humid conditions and flat calms seas, the weather pick of the week by far. A nice drift enabled anglers to pick away at a mix of keeper fluke to 5.5lbs and plenty of shorts. Hi hook took home 3 nice keepers for the morning. Some throwback sea bass to 5lbs and a bunch of sea robins completed the angling experience for the customers aboard.
Capt. Rich reported a slower day of fluke fishing today but still respectable. Hi hook took home four keepers. Still an awesome pool fish of 8.5lbs. Not as many jumbo fluke today. Plenty of sea bass to throw back and the blue fish were blitzing all over the place and they were busily eating anglers rigs unfortunately so make sure you pack some extra rigs just in case the blue fish are overly eager on a day you come down. After the five star fishing of the past couple days and in general the past month a slower day or two has to be expected. Tomorrow is a new day and Capt. Rich is eagerly looking forward to taking the Gail Frances out at 7am.
