Capt. Ray reported that there was a rather healthy turnout of Striper enthusiasts last night. A good number of bass were boated although there was nothing big. There were some limit catches. Conditions were somewhat challenging at times but that is sometimes the nature of party boat fishing. Plenty of room on tonight’s Striper trip with Capt. Ray set to sail at 7pm on the Lady Frances.
Capt. Chris reported the Striper charter for the Brian Cote group was outstanding. Anglers had very close to a full boat limit of Stripers in addition to a dozen or so good size blue fish. Nothing huge with the best in the mid teens. The Capt. Frances is a perfect vessel for groups of 8 to 15 for Striper charters and some choice dates remain through the summer. Call the office for more booking details if interested in putting a Striper charter together.
Capt. Don reported slower fishing on last night’s half day fluke fishing trip with a handful of nice keepers and some shorts and throwback sea bass of various sizes but overall a bit less action than hoped for. Two half days scheduled for today with the first leaving at 8am and the next one leaving at 4pm.
