Details recently forthcoming on yesterday’s 7am full day trip indeed confirm that fishing was way off from the past two days but I would hardly call it poor. Hi hook was Mr. Pak who put six fine keepers in the boat and took the pool with a slab that went just under 8lbs. There was a fair amount of good size sea bass and quite a showing of blue fish including a few in the ten pound range. A report for today’s 7am full day boat will be available later today.
Capt. Mike reported the 8am full day trip today was slow but they did manage some nice size fluke with a handful of fish in the 5 to 6lb range. Hi hook today did go home with five nice keepers. A few sea bass today but nothing special. The next 8am full day trip will not sail until NEXT WEDNESDAY AUGUST 17TH.
Capt. Chris reported the Dwayne Matthews charter recieved a fair mix of both keeper fluke and sea bass today. Nothing earth shattering but some nice fish and plenty of tasty fillets for some good meals to come.
Some scant word has come to the office on the Night Striper fishing the past two nights and none of it was favorable but the writer will be trying to ascertain more details, for better or worse, and post them in a subsequent update.
