Capt Mike called in to say they had a very respectable day of blackfishing today. Most fish in the 16-18″ size but almost just as many in the 18-20″+ range. With the exception of a couple of anglers everyone had their limit of tautog. As well as quite a few seabass and even a couple of keeper codfish. The usual number of throwback tautog to keep anglers busy as well. It was certianly nice to have a calm day on the water, unlike the weather pattern we have had in recent days. The rest of the week looks nice, so don’t miss out on the good fishing…….and good weather. The next trip is tomorrow morning at 6:00 a.m. on the Lady Frances.
