Another tough day of local codding was the report from those who worked the Lady Frances today. There was a slight bite first thing in the morning in the bow. Two nice football market size pollock as well in that brief pop. It was not much just a handful of keepers and shorts. When that ebbed we went looking around and while we did find a few handfuls of hake including a few whoppers we did not find much else. Very few ocean perch or ocean pout in the mix today. There have not been many dogs recently either. Just kind of quiet. Some mackerel for those who spent some time targeting them with Mackerel rigs. Weather looks nice once again tomorrow and we try again with the Lady Frances set to sail at 5am and the Capt.Tackle office will be open at 4am for check ins, ticket sales and tackle purchases.
