Due to the Gale Warnings posted there will be no fishing tomorrow and right now Sunday does not look very good either. We will evaluate Sunday’s weather again with the forecast package that comes out tomorrow afternoon but right now the better weather window looks like it will be early this coming week through perhaps mid week.
In other news upon talking to Capt. Matt who worked the deck yesterday on the Lady Frances the consensus seems to be that the big fish of the day was bigger than originally thought being well into the 30’s. Next biggest fish was in the mid teens but there were many “gaffers” in the eight to ten pound range. Just about everything was on bait once again and there were a lot of ling, some ocean pout and some nice size ocean perch mixed in with the great catch of cod.
