FLUKE FLUKE FLUKE!!! Opening Day 2012 on the Lady Frances, Friday May 4th. The boat leaves at 7:00 a.m. Early season reports are that there are some fish around locally so Capt. Mike and crew are anxious to get out there. April was a tough month. Alot of windy weather with the boats being tied to the dock for most of the month. Hopefully May brings better weather and great fishing. Our fluke regulations this year are good, so here is hoping for some nice catches. Seabass opens earlier this year, June 15th and stays open until the end of the year, so that will definately prove for some nice fall fishing. Scup is also open now, and a few of those in your coolers during the summer is always a bonus. We started squid last weekend with unfortunately some not so nice results but that is definately attributed to the lousy weather. Our next trip for squid is Friday night, and after that we will be on our Wednesday through Sunday night schedule. For those anglers looking for double the fishing, ask us about our special for doing a squid and fluke trip back to back. Also, a reminder that you can now book some of our trips on line on our website. You can currently book squid, striped bass, 1/2 day fishing trips and also whale watch trips. We can still take your reservation over the phone, if you experience any problems.
