The word from the squid boat last night was that the full moon tide raged something fierce, and kept the squid hard down in the rocks and very tough to catch. It was a beautiful night on the water and we had a very pleasant turnout of squid enthusiasts so it certainly would have been nice if the squid were more cooperative but they were not and that is just how fishing is sometimes. Nevertheless a couple of sharpies managed to do okay all things considered, most notably Connie Tu who managed 20 nice squid. Way to go Connie!! We plan on trying again tonight, the weather looks great with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7pm with Capt. Ray. One pic was provided courtesy Capt. Cory.
Capt. Mike is out after Fluke again today so look for a new report a bit later on this evening. The weather looks stunning for tomorrow and the Gail Frances will be set to sail at 7am for fluke.
