Capt. Chris and first mate Troy reported an excellent day of fluking today. It was a beautiful day on the water with a refreshing breeze which made for a very quick drift. As expected with the fast drift conditions the fluke responded to the long leadered bait rigs the best. Whole squid, spinner rigs, and the rental rods all shined brightly today. A lot of quality fish again over 4lbs with a half dozen over 6lbs and the days best approaching the 9lb mark. Most of the anglers aboard had at least a couple fish apiece to take home with a substantial number of the anglers aboard getting four to seven nice keepers apiece. Now that is some good fishing!! Lots and lots of shorts kept the anglers readily occupied at the rail as well today. Some slammer blue fish into the low teens made things a bit more adventurous at times and anglers tossed back plenty more big sea bass, the countdown is on…only three more fishing days left before we can keep them! Tomorrow is another fine fishing day and Capt. Mike looks forward to another great day on the water with the Lady Frances set to sail at 7am. The office will be open at 5am for ticket sales and check ins.
