Captain Mike called in and reported a slower day on the cod grounds. The mornings pick was slower then it has been. The bite seemed to pick up in the afternoon and Mike is putting in some extra hours on the cod.Pool fish today was around 15 pounds.The keeper action was slower but the overall cod bite was good with quite a few shorts coming over the rail. There will be no trip tomorrow due to gale force winds.We are watching the weather for Sunday. Please call the office to make a reservation for any future cod trip.
