Captain Mike reported another solid day on the local cod boat. A large group of angler were treated to a nice December day with cod coming over the rails. Limit catches around the boat with many guys leaving with 7-8 and some with less. Pool fish was in the low teens with a few nice “gaffers” in the mix. A few last minute sea bass in the mix as well. 1 weakfish also hit the decks of the Lady Frances. We will be sailing tomorrow at 5am on the Lady Frances. Captain Matt was at the helm of the Gail Frances with the Powell Group and reported very similar fishing. Many green cod coming over the rails with everyone going home with a nice bag of fish.
