Captain Mike reported a okay day of fishing on the cod grounds. We are very lucky to have a cod bite in April and seems that it will keep going till the start of fluke. Speaking of fluke we had 6 fluke today that would have been keepers if it was 24 hours later. 2 dozen keeper cod and about 3 dozen shorts came over the rail. The quality of fish were much nicer then they have been with a few fish in the upper teens. Tomorrow’s weather looks a little wet but we are taking reservations until 5pm tonight. IF we do not have the number we will wait to try again Monday.
