First mate Greg reported both good and not so good news today aboard the Gail Frances. Good news was longtime regular customer Hahn from East Longmeadow MA had the first double digit fluke of the season with a fine 10 lb 30 inch slab and Hahn also had another fish around six pounds. The not so good news was that the numbers of keepers was overall on the slower side. Loads of squid around, even chasing the jigs and baited hooks to the surface. Hi hook went home with three nice keepers. Weather was beautiful and looks great again tomorrow with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7 am. Picture courtesy first mate Greg.
Great weather for the squid fishing trips tonight and tomorrow night. Plenty of room on both nights so just give us a call if interested in making a reservation. Squid trips will set sail at 7 pm aboard the Gail Frances.
